| Notes about this item. A protoform Alfa 2.0 Lettered as a door prize/souvenir for the first race in the Western Canadian Indoor Championship Series 2003-2004, or "Pentathlon" for short, since five cities participated. For some reason I'm missing shots of the sides and rear of the shell. |
Colours Used. Opaque Black Opaque White Alclad II Chrome 12 coats Candy Red Coarse Aluminum Basecoat I painted all the detail first, then started in on the Candy colour. The candy soaked right through everything else, in particular turning everything that was meant to be white into a pale pink - even that which had been backed in black first, like the headlights. Lesson learned - always paint the candy colour first. |
